Le plus grand défilé de mode du monde

Participation requirements were a photo with personal styling – an image fitting into the look and feel of one of the four capitals of fashion – Paris, Milan, New York and London, high votes ranking and last but not least – a jury decision.
After certain period of hesitations and inspirations which styling to choose, I picked Paris bohème, which represented to me the casual elegance, the feeling of effortless chic. This is how I managed to combine my love for the jeans with the corporate outlook and the perception of casual aesthetic. After the photo shooting with Victor we come to the moment the picture was ready and uploaded on the GL site. From this moment on, it was the end of August, began the excitement of the vote (I thank all my friends who supported me) and the final decisions of the jury. Finally, I got my invitation to participate in the show. Literally I had 2 days to arrange it all – my days off, flight tickets, hotel accommodation in Paris (which can be very, very challenging)…and the Big day arrived!
On September 15, 2012 we all gathered in Le Palais Brongniard (where is located Paris stock exchange).
The organization was extremely professional and structured – elements of crucial importance for the success of such type of mass events (I’m telling this from a professional point of view too ;)).
At 9.00 a.m. all the participants were confided to the hands of experienced make-up artists (STUDIOMAKEUP), the hairdressers of Franck Provost, the instructors of Talons Academy (I learnt very useful tips from them), the photographers, the Glamour magazine team and all the awesome staff involved in the show production.
In few words what I can say about the show is: professionalism and beautiful, unforgettable emotion. Marching the catwalk – this is a feeling words cannot describe, it should be lived, a memory that lasts and fills with joy and happiness.
The preparation of the 3rd edition of the biggest fashion show in the world is ongoing and themes are more than inspiring: Urban morning, Tea party, Cocktail time and Night birds. I couldn’t resist and figured out interpretations of each of them. And to see what was the result – keep following the posts!
