The greatest luxury is time: useful tips on how to get more of it with VISA

The greatest luxury is time – the words I will remember forever since my first Salon du luxe in Paris. Time cannot be bought, but it can be won and used for the worthwhile things in life.
I have told you big part of my professional experience was in financial sector. For years, I’ve been interested in everything about innovation, security and information in terms of financial services. Today, I am about to share with you, in my everyday life experience, how I manage to have more of this greatest luxury – the time.
- For my everyday shopping at the store, I pay contactless. Visa cards allow contactless payments of up to 25 leva without PIN code entry *. One click, instead of all this money searching in the wallet, change and so on – and this saves a great deal of time.
- I pay my bills online. I do not understand why people waste their time on queues instead of paying fast and safely via online or mobile banking. Online payment systems are comfortable and accompanied by various forms of security verification.
- Have you ever been trying to withdraw money from an ATM during holidays? I’ve wandered the neighborhood from an ATM to ATM bumping into the same Out of service screen. Such a waste of time and unnecessary stress that can be spared thanks to contactless and online payments.
- Bank cards often include additional services that make life easier and safer. One of these is Travel Assistance insurance. I.e., if you have such insurance in the financial package, it is sufficient when you are outside the country to make a card transaction (buy a magazine or a bottle of water at the airport) and the insurance is activated.
- If we look at the resource time on a longer-term basis, online payments are environmentally responsible. More online payments mean less paper documents in bank offices as well as CO2 emissions from transportation of funds.So, how about having more of the greatest luxury: your time?Photos: Martina Todorova
