About quality life and the white shoes

White shoes are one of the hottest trends for 2017. Since January they’ve manifested their intention to be part of our closets and with the arrival of warm spring days there is no force that could stop them.
In fact, I think there is a direct correlation between quality life and the white shoes.
When we look for the best and it is the only choice we will make, we focus on absolute quality. In these cases we are not led by what is practical, mass, conventional, traditional, everything we are familiar with. At times like that, we aim at the best, the most beautiful, the exceptional, the one that corresponds best to our true self, to our self-perception and attitude towards that very moment. Yes, there might be a risk that streets won’t be very clean, there might be rain, or a risk of dirt, or just to be the only one among sea of black-brown models. And, so what?
While I was writing this article I remembered a quote by Nikolay Roerich saying that
the culture of living is the quality of free time – and it depends on the maximum energy put into every single moment.
In other wordsр every moment we live the best way possible leads to a quality living.
So, taking the risk of a possible rain, I went outside in Paris, during Fashion week. With the first rays of the sun I wanted nothing but being bare feet and my white shoes reflecting the sun light. For me these loafers are real match – made of soft leather, fitting like a glove, can be worn for hours since the very beginning, fine buckle detail and last but not least – they could be transformed into a pair of mule loafers by turning the shoe down. The shoes I will definitely wear till late autumn with jeans, dresses – super elegant and casual, with ripped jeans shorts, in the office, during the weekend, at the sea side or on the plane heading to the next amazing destination, with no limits. Because sometimes all we need is a different perspective and a pair of great shoes.
Do you agree?
