Viewpoint: the naïve childlike perspective of French post-impressionist painter Henri Rousseau. Hybrid influences, handcrafts, flower petal metamorphosing into a swan, the leaves into a zebra. Traditional artisans bring to life 3D embroidery techniques on natural textiles such as cotton voile and organdy inspired by Rousseau’s artworks. Lightweight textiles…a collection filled with beauty, carrying a strong message.
